Beginning Monday, May 11, 2020, the Jennings County Sheriff's Office will be open by appointment only.

• Appointments will need to be made for Gun Permits and background checks by calling (812) 346-8642.

 

• Inmate visits will also resume, the visiting days and hours will be Monday-Friday, 8am to 4pm, with a limit of 2 visitors allowed at a time in the visitation area. Remember to schedule your visit 24 hours in advance.  (We will be checking visitor's temperatures at the door before entering the building.)

 

• Commissary can be put on an inmate's books in the lobby only while visiting an inmate. Other options to add money are JailAtm.com, Inmatesales.com or mail a postal money order.

 

 While in the building please maintain the Social Distancing Guidelines of 6 feet

Masks are recommended but not required

 

*If exhibiting the symptoms of the COVID-19 please do not come into the building.  We have the right to refuse entry to anyone with the following symptoms:

-Fever greater than 100 degrees

-Cough

-Sore Throat

-Runny Nose

-Nasal Congestion
